Along with the new Silent Hill f screening at State of Play, Konami also has good news for owners of Sony's flagship console: the horror will support PS5 Pro.

Here's What We Know

What improvements does the game offer on PS5 Pro? According to the series' producer Motoi Okamoto on the PlayStation Blog, there will be an "Enhanced Graphics" mode that "maintains graphical clarity at a stable frame rate". While this doesn't indicate a specific resolution or frame rate, he noted that players will be able to enjoy a "smoother and more aesthetically pleasing experience".

If it's anything like Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill f may feature Performance and Quality modes on base consoles, with the former running at 60 FPS and the latter delivering higher resolution at 30 FPS.

Hopefully, the Pro's implementation of PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) will be better than the remake of the second part, providing 4K and 60 fps.

Silent Hill f comes out on 25 September on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5, and pre-orders are already open.
